Chief Product Manager (CPM) Client Digital Channels

As the Chief Product Owner of Client Digital Channels at one of the largest private banks in the Netherlands, I lead a scaled Scrum team that encompasses our client portal and four mobile apps across iOS and Android. This team includes four Scrum teams and three Product Owners, all working together to make private banking more accessible, efficient, and client-focused.

Our goal is to deliver the premium experience of private banking through digital channels without compromising the personal, human connection between clients and their bankers. By adopting AI and machine learning early on and maintaining a strong focus on client-centricity, we’ve achieved significant improvements, increasing Net Promoter Scores (NPS) from 7.2 to 8.5 in the Netherlands and from 6.8 to 8.6 in Belgium over the past three years.

I work closely with stakeholders and teams to develop practical solutions that truly enhance the client experience and business value while keeping an excellent cost/income ratio. Our forward-thinking approach also earned us early access to Microsoft’s Copilot technologies, keeping us ahead of most European banks and strengthening our position as leaders in digital Wealth Management.

Head Of User Experience & Chapter Lead

As Head of UX within our Digital Acceleration program, I played a critical role in the profound digital transformation of our firm. I helped establish the user-centric mindset and methodologies from the ground up, laying the foundation for our User Experience and Design Strategies. My responsibilities extended across multiple Scrum teams, encompassing corporate apps, Omnichannel acquisition & client portal, and internal tooling for bankers & advisors, as well as pioneering our AI and Smart platforms integrations. I actively engaged clients and stakeholders in a collaborative effort to share and refine the digital product vision, which has become the cornerstone of our innovation for the years to come. Furthermore, in partnership with our communications department, I led our corporate rebranding efforts and played a crucial role in the bank’s comprehensive digital transition, a key milestone in our evolution into a digitally advanced institution.

Digital Strategist / Senior UX Consultant

As a Digital Strategist, I shaped the strategy and vision of the investment corporate proposition. As a User Experience Consultant and Project lead, I collaborated with multiple international investment banks across Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, and the Netherlands. In this capacity, I directed the development of UX and Front-End competencies, significantly enhancing the firm's digital proposition portfolio. My role also involved assisting various northern banks and Fintech companies in initiating their digital transformations and providing strategic guidance to bootstrap their innovation initiatives.

Sr. Product Designer / UX Strategist

In my role as a Product Designer and Strategist, I led a team of Front End Developers and Designers within the UX department, where I honed our product proposition, vision, and concept. Concurrently, as a member of the R&D department at a cybersecurity company, I focused on the development of innovative products including camera state monitoring, anomaly detection, and face recognition, thereby advancing our cybersecurity solutions and technological prowess. My duties spanned the full spectrum of strategy and development for new corporate software and apps, encompassing everything from user research to the creation of prototypes and MVPs.
